How to Style: Statement Skirt

Hey Guys, today I want to talk about leopard print! I feel like it's always so popular in the fall and I'm already seeing it everywhere from shoes to tops to pants! So, I wanted to show you a few different ways to style a leopard print skirt! I've had this for a while, it's an old banana republic purchase but I've definitely gotten so much wear out of it! It's not being sold yet but I linked similar below:

So for the first look, I paired it with this bell sleeved rust sweater I got in korea last year. I love how it brings out the light brown in the skirt. I paired it with basic black booties. I also tried it with this red/gold corset belt but I feel like it's better without it.

Next, I just threw on this amazing chunky leather jacket I just got! It's has these gold detail that just add some more pizazz to the jacket! I feel like this is a good casual date night look with friends!

For this next look I wore my favorite bright camisole with this super soft textured cardigan and my patent leather oxford shoes! The shoes tone down the girly-ness of the look and makes it more laid-back and casual. I feel like this is a look I would wear to church! Again, the orange brings more of the color out of the skirt.

This next one is one of my favorite ways to wear anything: This basic button up goes with everything! Also, I feel like this is a good work look, since the skirt isn't too short and the flats will keep you comfy all day! Honestly, I was going for a casual way to style it but I added the blazer and boom! ready for work!

Okay, this next look is definitely my favorite one out of all these looks! I wanted to show you how to wear a skirt without having to tuck it in. This top is from Express and it ties on the waist to give me some shape. The way the shirt falls really compliments the skirt. I feel like this is another good work look!

*exact shirt linked, if you click through it will take you to the black one all sizes in stock

This last look I wanted to show you a very fall outfit: A chunky forest green sweater and over-the-knee boots! I wore it with this shoulder bag to keep it super casual and easy!
These otk boots are from Goodnight Macaroon! Don't buy them when they're full price, they ALWAYS go on sale! I think you can get them around $80-$90 on sale.

Okay, hope you guys enjoyed! I'm sorry about the low quality pictures! My husband has been so busy with work that we haven't been able to do a complete photo shoot. Good news, my brother and sis-in-law gifted me their camera and I once I get it fixed, better quality pictures will be shared!! I kept waiting and waiting to be able to do a shoot so I haven't been able to post on here but I felt like it was better to post than wait forever! Thank you guys for your patience!

  1. Ah babe I love this skirt! I am normally quite scared of combining two different patterns but the leo print goes so well with the striped blouse. WELL DONE!
